Summer Ballet Intensive

The SCDT Summer Intensive offers a comprehensive training experience combining rigorous technique classes with rehearsal, conditioning, and creative work. Classes include ballet, modern, pilates, variations, and repertory, giving dancers a well-rounded and challenging daily schedule.

The program culminates in a final performance on the evening of July 31, showcasing the work developed throughout the intensive.

Guest teachers and faculty from leading institutions, including:

  • Peninsula Ballet Theatre

  • Utah Metropolitan Ballet

  • Texas Ballet Theater

  • School of American Ballet

  • Oceanica Ballet

Intensive will take place at 2800 South Rodeo Gulch Rd, Ste. C, Soquel, CA 95073

Intermediate Intensive

  • Dates: July 6 – July 31

  • Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday

  • Time: 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM

  • Tuition: $580

  • Ages 9-12

Designed for dancers continuing to build a strong technical foundation, this program focuses on consistency, alignment, musicality, and introduction to more complex movement and repertory.

Advanced Intensive

  • Dates: July 6 – July 31

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday

  • Time: 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM

  • Tuition: $650

  • Ages 13-18

A rigorous, pre-professional training experience for advanced dancers, emphasizing technique refinement, artistry, stamina, and performance quality.
